But it hurts my hands.
I’ve always had soft hands. Not the callused gross man hands of the working class. But now that I am working, I can see it and I can feel it. The composition of the skin on my hands is changing. And it’s just so sad. Because my hands aren’t getting rough from doing construction work or anything. It’s these damn copying machines. When the paper comes out it’s so hot. They’re causing my hands to blister. And then turning pages. The dryness of my finger against the papers is causing even more blisters and calluses. I have always wondered why teachers used to lick their fingers so much before the touched papers in school. I used to think that they were marking their territory or something. But now I get it. I think. Help me.
